All electronic copies of all new rules, repeals and amendments are updated in the New Mexico Administrative Code website (“NMAC”) within seven days of those rules becoming effective, as published in the New Mexico Register. For emergency rule filings, those rules will be updated in NMAC after they have been published in the New Mexico Register. Prior to being placed on the NMAC, electronic copies of all new rules, repeals, and amendments can be found in the New Mexico Register, which is the official publication for all notices of rulemaking and filings of adopted, proposed, and emergency rules in New Mexico.
The date of the most recent update is located on the front page of the NMAC website. Occasionally and as need arises, special or supplemental updates get loaded onto the NMAC. See the History of NMAC Updates for specific details and to review all rule updates that have been completed. If the need arises, the NMAC will be culled and reviewed and there may be changes, additions or deletions to any rule may be made. If you have any question concerning any electronic copy found on NMAC, or if you need information concerning the official, paper copy of any rule, please send an email to: STATERULES@srca.nm.gov .
