NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

The NMHSD is amending the rule to be in compliance with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).

The Human Services Department (the Department), through the Cash Program, is proposing to amend the New Mexico Administrative Code (NMAC) rule 8.102.501 NMAC-TRANSITION BONUS PROGRAM.  During the 2020 Legislative Session, monies have been appropriated to the Department to reimplement Transition Bonus Program.

 

Regulations issued pursuant to the act are contained in 45 CFR Parts 200-299.  State authority for administering the cash program is contained in Chapter 27 NMSA, 1978.  Administration of the Human Services Department (HSD), including its authority to promulgate regulations, is governed by Chapter 9, Article 8, NMSA 1978 (Repl. 1983).

All Written comment may be dropped off during the scheduled hearing time at the HSD San Miguel County Field Office, 2536 Ridge Runner Rd., Las Vegas, NM 87701.
